In 2010, the profitable tea processing and packaging plant Fralib in France falls victim to a common corporate vice: wage dumping. The plant was set to move its location to Poland, until its workers decide to rebel and take-over control of production. Laura Coppens accompanies them in their pursuit of self-administration and negotiating new self-determined work routines. In a world in which corporate profits and exploitation of the weak domineers production, TASTE OF HOPE highlights an alternative path of solidarity and cooperative working.
