Clara, a nurse from the outskirts of São Paolo, is hired by Ana, a wealthy pregnant woman, as a nanny to her unborn child. The two women develop an intimate bond until the fateful night of child birth under an ominous full moon. GOOD MANNERS is a modern fable defying genre-specific boundaries linking art house and horror, motherhood and werewolf tale, infusing a subtle yet incisive social critique on sexuality and racism in Brazilian society – unconventional, enchanting and deeply disturbing.
